My name Faizal (Zal for short), a Concept Artist and Matte Painter from Singapore, currently living in Vancouver, BC.
Having over 10 years of experience in the industry, I have worked on some major motion films such as The Hunger Games Series, Godzilla and Les Misérables at Double Negative in Singapore, and Emoji and Hotel Transylvania 3 in Sony Pictures Imageworks.
In my spare time I enjoy sculpting, painting and sketching. I am mostly self taught as an artist, always challenging myself and eager to learn new skills. Beside that , I love writing and making music. I'm involved in organizations to provide mutual aid and poverty alleviation.
